Caroline + Edward

Mr. & Mrs. Lynch

St. Joseph Co-Cathedral | Rendezvous

Married: May 31, 2019

One of my favorite things about my job is when I get the honor of being invited back to document a siblings wedding from a past bride.  It’s such a privilege and a joy to be asked back into a family’s life for one of their biggest celebrations.  I booked Edward & Caroline’s wedding over a year ago and I have been looking forward to this wedding ever since!  I even joke with Caroline’s Mom that she needs more daughters for me to photograph.  The Gayral family has made me feel like family ever since I documented their first child’s wedding.

There is nothing I love more than walking into a bridal suite and seeing familiar faces.  I immediately felt welcomed and loved as soon as I stepped foot into the beautiful Dansereau House.

Caroline & Edward were married at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux and their reception followed at the Rendezvous.  It was beautiful from beginning to end.  Their family drove and flew from many different states.  One of my favorite things about Edward & Caroline is how loved they are by their family & friends.  You could tell everyone was so ecstatic about being there to celebrate with them.

This wedding was jammed packed with tons of surprises.  From Caroline’s Dad singing a song to her to Edward & his mom’s surprise mother & son dance to Edward playing his trumpet for their guest.  Misty and I couldn’t wait for what was coming next. The band, the décor, the food…. Everything was just perfect.

It was such an honor to be part of this beautiful day.  It was a southern dream!  Enjoy some of our favorites from the evening!

Kaitlyn + Matt

Mr. & Mrs. Meche

Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church | The Main Affair

Married: May 25, 2019

A few years ago, I remember meeting Kaitlyn for the first time at GDC (preschool my children attended) and wondering if she was really that happy and charismatic all the time?? After getting to know her more, I quickly realized that the joy that exuded from her was coming straight from the heart and that she was truly one of the most personable and happy people I had ever met in my life.

It seems like just yesterday I was meeting Matt for the first time at my studio.  Matt is thoughtful, genuine, well spoken, well loved and incredibly kind.  His love for Kaitlyn is so evident in every interaction with her.  Watching Kaitlyn marry such an incredible guy brings us so much joy.

They were married at the beautiful Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Thibodaux with a reception that followed to The Main Affair in Houma.  Matt & Kaitlyn chose to invite only family and a handful of friends for their BIG day! I have to admit; it was absolutely perfect.  I have never witnessed so many guests so excited for a couple.

Kaitlyn & Matt, you are an incredible couple.  Your love for each other and for other people was shining so brightly throughout your entire wedding day.  We cannot thank you enough for allowing us to be the ones to capture the memories of your wedding!! Enjoy!

Jessica + Jules

Mr. & Mrs. Haydel

St. Francis de Sales Cathedral | Aphrodite Hall

Married: November 10, 2017

It all started with Jessica & Tyler’s wedding in 2012, then we photographed Kalli & Michael’s wedding in 2015, then Sarah & Chase’s wedding in 2016. All the same group of guys in each others weddings.

Jules met Jessica at Kalli & Michael’s wedding. They have such a sweet relationship. I loved capturing them with their best friends. Jessica & Jules love their families and it was obvious that they love their friends. They were surrounded by high school friends, college, childhood, cousins, etc… It’s such a special thing to have all of the people that you love in ONE place! As we captured their day, I couldn’t help but think how much of an honor it is to spend the day with them! I feel like we’re part of the family!! It’s been pretty awesome to witness the friendship between these group of guys and the beautiful girls they chose to spend their life with. I know I say it all the time but I’m truly blessed.

Enjoy some of my favorite moments and images that tell the story of their day!!
