Beth + Chad

Mr. & Mrs. Costales

Southern Oaks Plantation | New Orleans, LA

Married: September 7, 2019

I met Chad & Beth through our sons playing baseball together.  After their baseball season was over, Beth called to tell me that Chad had proposed!!  I was so honored that they picked me to be their wedding photographer.  Chad & Beth have so much style and I knew this wedding was going to be top notch.

Early September weddings in South Louisiana are known to be a little warm but that didn’t mess up this gorgeous wedding.  It was such a beautiful day for a New Orleans plantation wedding.  I don’t know what it is about Southern Oaks Plantation, but on warm, summer evenings, the light is just magical.

Chad & Beth, Congratulations!!  We couldn’t be more excited for you two!!  Enjoy your wedding day from our perspective!

Abby + Mitch

Mr. & Mrs. Folse

St. Genevieve Catholic Church | Rendezvous

Married: July 13, 2019

After years in this industry, I can honestly say that Mitch & Abby’s wedding day was unlike anything I have ever experienced before!  Hurricane Barry was making landfall and it was not stopping these two from saying “I Do”!  They had so many adversities come their way, but nothing was stopping them.  Some brides would have let this steal their joy, but not Abby!  I have never seen two people never stop smiling and so excited to get married.  I even told Mitch, “she would have met you at the end of the aisle for a Category 5 storm” and his response was, “I know and I would have been waiting”.  It was truly one of the most beautiful and heartfelt weddings I have captured.  They were surrounded by so many friends and family. It was truly amazing to witness so many loved ones there to support and witness this marriage.  They both have such a genuine, easy-going way about them that makes them so easy to love and get to know.

There may have been lots of rain and wind on Mitch & Abby’s wedding day, but it didn’t steal their joy.  They had one heck of a celebration and it was beautiful.  Their friends and family partied the night away while the rain continued to come down.

Mitch & Abby!  I hope your honeymoon was just as incredible as you are!  We cannot wait to hear all about Alaska!  You two have such beautiful families and it was such an honor to be the ones capturing your memories of the day!  We love you both!

Emily + Kaleb

Mr. & Mrs. Flowers

Sacred Heart | Nico Bella

Married: June 8, 2019

There is just something special about tradition. Emily is the 5thgeneration to get married at Sacred Heart Church in Morgan City.  Family traveled from all over to witness these two tie the knot.

We loved watching Emily’s reaction to all the little love notes Kaleb had planned throughout the day.  When she put on her dress, when she got in the limo, when she got to the church…. It was just adorable.

From the speeches that had everyone laughing to Emily & her brother singing “Elvira”, we had the best time.

Emily & Kaleb, Congratulations!  You both have so much to look forward to!  Enjoy this exciting new season of life!

Amanda + Bill

Mr. & Mrs. Boudreaux

Grand Bayou Noir

Married: June 1, 2019

Bill and Amanda were married at the beautiful property of Grand Bayou Noir in Houma.  It was a beautiful South Louisiana summer evening and it was amazing!   As soon as I arrived, I was so impressed with the gorgeous setting and all the special touches.  These two were surrounded by such amazing family and friends on their wedding day, and there were such sweet moments that stuck out to me as I captured each part of the day.

Bill & Amanda are such a precious couple.  I’ve been looking forward to this wedding since their engagement session last fall at Avery Island.  I then realized how photogenic they both are! Not only are they natural in front of the camera but they are incredibly genuine and kind.  They were so excited to finally be married.  Both Bill & Amanda told us thank you over and over throughout the night.  Sometimes I wonder how I ever got so lucky to be blessed with such wonderful clients.

I loved seeing some of our past couples and their families at this wedding as well.  Amanda’s cousin was married a few years ago and that’s when Amanda started following me.   Years later it was her turn to be the bride and I’m so honored that she chose me to capture it all!!

I cannot wait to share these images with you.  This is only a small peek of our favorites.  Enjoy!

Caroline + Edward

Mr. & Mrs. Lynch

St. Joseph Co-Cathedral | Rendezvous

Married: May 31, 2019

One of my favorite things about my job is when I get the honor of being invited back to document a siblings wedding from a past bride.  It’s such a privilege and a joy to be asked back into a family’s life for one of their biggest celebrations.  I booked Edward & Caroline’s wedding over a year ago and I have been looking forward to this wedding ever since!  I even joke with Caroline’s Mom that she needs more daughters for me to photograph.  The Gayral family has made me feel like family ever since I documented their first child’s wedding.

There is nothing I love more than walking into a bridal suite and seeing familiar faces.  I immediately felt welcomed and loved as soon as I stepped foot into the beautiful Dansereau House.

Caroline & Edward were married at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux and their reception followed at the Rendezvous.  It was beautiful from beginning to end.  Their family drove and flew from many different states.  One of my favorite things about Edward & Caroline is how loved they are by their family & friends.  You could tell everyone was so ecstatic about being there to celebrate with them.

This wedding was jammed packed with tons of surprises.  From Caroline’s Dad singing a song to her to Edward & his mom’s surprise mother & son dance to Edward playing his trumpet for their guest.  Misty and I couldn’t wait for what was coming next. The band, the décor, the food…. Everything was just perfect.

It was such an honor to be part of this beautiful day.  It was a southern dream!  Enjoy some of our favorites from the evening!
