Mr. & Mrs. Casey

St. Francis De Sales Cathedral | Ducros Plantation Wedding

Married:  April 22, 2017

Happy Wednesday! I’m beyond excited to share some of our favorites from our newest wedding with you today! Sarah & John are seriously one of the sweetest couples.

Throughout each part of the day, one thing was so apparent: their overflowing love for each other, and their family and friends, too.  But there was one moment we’ll never forget, because we were some of the only people there: the moment Sarah’s dad saw his daughter as a bride for the first time. It was so powerful that it brought us to tears behind the camera, too.

Sarah & John, thank you for giving us the chance to bear witness to one of the most important days of your life, and trusting us with the responsibility of preserving it for generations to come — and for being so down to earth and joyful every single second of it.

Ashley + Tyler | Oak Alley Plantation Engagement

Ashley & Tyler originally booked their engagement session for a Saturday in March but it ended up raining and we rescheduled.  We were all bummed about the weather but it was so meant to be because the date they rescheduled for was absolutely perfect.  No humidity, a light breeze, and no clouds.  It is the weather that every client prays for in South Louisiana.  Midway through our session, we spotted a Mama fox with 6 babies.  None of us have ever seen a fox in the wild before.  It is something I will never forgot and I will think of this precious couple every time.  I have so many favorites from this session.  Here are a few of my favorites!

Sarah’s Bridals | Ducros Plantation

Ducros Plantation Bridal Session

Oh what a wonderful time I had at Ducros Plantation for Sarah’s bridal session.  If you have never met the owners, Mr. Richard & Mrs. Angela, you are in for a treat.  They welcomed me with true southern hospitality and I left feeling like I have known them forever.  Sarah grew up going to the plantation as a child.  Her godmother,  Mrs. Angela, had several stories to share.  From wine & cheese dates in the attic with Sarah’s parents to a cat that come tells Sarah hi every time she visits.  I even got to learn a little history on the plantation.  I truly had a wonderful time.

Here are few of my favorites from Sarah’s session!

P.S…. Mrs. Angela… I’m still looking forward to that porch date with a cold drink!:)

Grand Bayou Noir Wedding

Married: April 1, 2017

.

Lauren & Ryan were married in a stunningly elegant outdoor ceremony at the home of Judge Ellender, Grand Bayou Noir in Houma.  They couldn’t have asked for better weather.  It was the perfect spring day that every spring bride dreams of in South Louisiana.  I can’t thank Lauren & Ryan enough for allowing us to be a part of their emotion-filled day, and for making us ALL feel so welcome and appreciated.
