Krista + Kile

Mr. & Mrs. Lapeyrouse

Maria Immacolata Church | Melvin’s

Married: November 9, 2019

Krista & Kile have waited a long time for this day.  They chose to have a small intimate wedding and only invite a handful of guests.  They couldn’t have picked a more beautiful day to say I do.  The weather was absolutely amazing.

Krista & Kile were married at the beautiful Maria Immacolata Church in Houma with a reception that followed to Melvin’s Restaurant. Melvin’s is a hidden gem in Houma that is set on the Intercoastal Waterway. The sunken garden that is used as a dance floor is one my favorite spots.

These two are the sweetest duo and I’m so honored they chose me to photograph their special day. Here are just a few of my favorites. We hope you enjoy!

Dylan + Taylor

Mr. & Mrs. Schaul

Rosy’s Jazz Hall

Married: October 19, 2019

It was a beautiful October, New Orleans day.  Dylan & Taylor couldn’t have picked a more perfect day to get married.  I love that Taylor chose to get ready at her parents’ home.  It was filled with lots of excitement and “I cannot believe today is the day!”.  It seems like we were just at my studio discussing the BIG day!

Lots of happy tears were shed at this wedding.  My favorite part of the night were Dylan & Taylor’s heartfelt vows to each other.  These two have been together for so long and it was beautiful to witness their commitment to each other.  It was very easy to get taken in by Taylor’s abundant laugh and smile.  We can see why her friends and family, especially Dylan, adore her so much.

Misty and I hope you two are enjoying your first month of marriage.  We had a fantastic time with you both! It was such a privilege to be the ones there to capture your day. Thank you for allowing us to be there.  Here are just a few of our favorites.  We hope you enjoy!

Austin + Beth

Mr. & Mrs. Percle

Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church | Cypress Columns

Married: October 18, 2019

When I think about someone that is exuberant, I will always think of Beth.  She was so full of joy and so happy to be marrying her high school sweetheart.  From the first moment I stepped foot at her aunt’s house to the last step of the sparkler exit, she was beaming with joy the entire night.

If you have never been to one of Father Mark’s ceremonies, you are missing out.  He truly gets to know the couple and incorporates it into the entire ceremony.  It really was a beautiful ceremony and I caught myself wiping away tears from time to time.  I will never forget the moment Father Mark pronounced Austin & Beth husband and wife.  They ran down the aisle and shouted… “We are married”!!

I know the two of them will have a wonderful marriage. From the heartfelt letters they wrote to each other to the joy that radiated from their every being, it was such a beautiful night.  I am so lucky to be the one to capture this union.  I can never thank them enough!

Misty & I hope you two had a wonderful time in Sonoma, CA on your honeymoon.  I cannot wait to see the pictures!  Here are a few of our favorites from the night.  Thank you so much for allowing us to be the ones to capture your day!

Jacque + Rob

Jacque + Rob

St. Henry’s Catholic Church & Rosy’s Jazz Hall | New Orleans, LA

Married: September 28, 2019

I’ve been dreaming of a wedding like this for a while now and cannot think of a more perfect couple. Jacque & I worked together on the perfect schedule and boy… did it pay off!  Every minute was scheduled and not one hiccup came our way.

I was greeted with love the minute I walked in.  Everyone was so excited to for this precious couple!  After the prep was complete, Jacque & Rob were so excited to do a first look. The hotel offered to let us use a banquet room for privacy.  It truly was a precious moment to witness their excitement to see each other.  As we headed into the French Quarter for portraits, locals and tourists congratulated them everywhere we went.  We even had a sweet local offer for us to use her courtyard. Everywhere we went we were greeted with such love.  That is what I love so much about New Orleans.

St. Henry’s is one of my favorite churches in New Orleans.  It’s just the perfect church for a New Orleans wedding.  Jacque & Rob’s ceremony was so meaningful.  From the sweet homily from the deacon to the cute giggles they gave each other, it was so personal. After a few formal portraits at the church, we headed to Audubon Park for some fun portraits.  The sun was setting, and it was the perfect backdrop for the New Orleans look that Jacque & Rob love so much. Then off to Rosy’s Jazz Hall we went to celebrate the night away.  Everyone knows I LOVE… LOVE… LOVE Rosy’s!  I even joke with Darlene & Steve that one of my kids are getting married there one day! It was the perfect location for all the out of towners!  The ambience, the great food & brass band were all a hit!  It was a magical evening and I didn’t want it to end.

Jacque & Rob, Congratulations from the bottom of our heart’s!!  Misty and I couldn’t be more excited for you two!!  Thank you so much for putting your trust in us.  We hope you enjoy some of our favorites from your perfect wedding day!
