Alorha + Jordan

Mr. & Mrs. Breath

Royal Villa

Married: October 17, 2020

I have been looking forward to this wedding for a while.  I can still remember Alorha’s mom telling me she was engaged.  I met Alorha when she was a child and have watched her grow up into a beautiful young woman.  I had the privilege of taking her senior portraits and now her wedding.  I cannot thank the Verret family enough for trusting me to document all these special moments in their daughter’s life.  It really is an honor.

I met Jordan for the first time for their engagement session.  I fell in love with Alorha & Jordan’s chemistry 30 seconds into the session.  They love each other so much and it really does show.

The couple chose Royal Villa as their venue for their wedding day.  Oh, it was such a beautiful day!  Alorha and Jordan wrote vows to each other and decided to read them to each other privately before the ceremony.  It was such a beautiful moment, but I have to admit… my favorite part was when they did rock, paper, scissors to decide who would read first!!!

Pastor Ross Hebert from Bethany Church officiated the ceremony.  Their ceremony was so beautiful.  Their vows were very heartfelt, and I know this couple will be together forever.  They are truly committed to each other and I know the Lord is going to use them mightily!

After the ceremony we took the couple out for a few sunset portraits.  Alorha then changed into a different dress for the reception.  Once the party started, I really don’t think the dance floor was empty the entire night except for speeches.  Their bridal party had so many great things to say about them.  The couple ended the night was a sparkler exit.

Alorha & Jordan, I hope you guys are truly enjoying your first week of marriage.  Here are a few of our favorites from your amazing day!  We hope you enjoy!

Kasi + Hunter

Mr. & Mrs. Harris

St. Joseph Catholic Church | American Legion

Married: October 16, 2020

We have been blessed with such great weather this fall.  Kasi & Hunter couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day to get married.  Hunter is from the Missouri area.  I’m so glad his family got to experience a beautiful fall day in South Louisiana.

Kasi & Hunter’s wedding day brought back so many memories of growing up in Chauvin. From the escort by the Jerusalem Shriners to the church I grew up going to as a child, I was filled with lots of memories.  Kasi & Hunter were married at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin.   Deacon Gary officiated the ceremony.  We had lots of giggles during the ceremony, especially when the congregation yelled “Kiss the Bride”.

The reception then followed to the American Legion. It was beautifully decorated by Inspired Designs.  Zydeco DJ had the dance flooring filled quickly.   The night was filled with good ole’ Cajun fun.  I loved… loved… loved… Hunter’s grooms cake.  Chez Bakery did an amazing job.

Kasi & Hunter, we hope you guys have been enjoying your first few weeks of marriage.  Here are some of our favorites from your day!  Thank you for trusting us to document your beautiful day!

Megan + Josh

Mr. & Mrs. Authement

The Canefield

Married: October 3, 2020

Oh, this wedding day was a Louisiana dream wedding day!  The weather was incredible, and it is what every Louisiana bride dreams of when planning an outdoor wedding in the South.    It really was the perfect day for Megan & Josh to start their new life together.

Megan & Josh were married at The Canefield in Raceland.   Pastor Chad Callais from Cross Church officiated the ceremony.  Their ceremony was so beautiful. The light was perfect but more importantly, watching these two start their life together was more beautiful.

The reception then followed inside and DJ, Brett, was ready to get the party started.  I don’t think the dance floor was empty the entire night.  The night was filled with laughter, choreographed dances, great food and fun!

Megan & Josh, we hope you guys had a wonderful time in Key West.  We are so happy for you both and it was an honor to be your photographers.  Here are some of my favorites from your beautiful day!  We hope you enjoy!

Abby + Josh

Mr. & Mrs. Bergeron

St. Francis de Sales Cathedral | Event Center

Married: October 2, 2020

I have been looking forward to this wedding for some time now.  This is another wedding that Covid-19 hit.  Abby & Josh’s original date was in April.  They couldn’t have picked a better reschedule date.  The weather was absolutely perfect.

I fell in love with these high school sweethearts during their engagement session. They are so fun to be around and have such great chemistry.  In addition, I love the bond that Abby and her Mom have.  Through the whole planning process, it has been a blessing to me to witness the special relationship they have.

When I arrived at Abby’s home, I was immediately greeted by Abby and her sweet Mom.  Everyone was so excited to celebrate her day.  After getting ready, we then traveled to a local park for portraits. I’m so glad we planned for this. The lighting and location were just perfect.

Abby & Josh were married at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral in Houma.  I love how Abby and Josh prayed before the ceremony. This couple has been together for so long.  It was so beautiful to see them become husband and wife. After the ceremony we celebrated with a sparkler exit outside of the church!!

The reception then followed to the Event Center.  Souled Out was ready to get the party started.  It was a night filled with great food, fun and laughter.  Everyone was so very happy to celebrate this sweet couple.     We hope you guys are having a wonderful time in mountains.  Here are some of my favorites from their beautiful day!

Chelsea + Brett

Mr. & Mrs. Rome
Christ the Redeemer | Protector Fire Station
Married: September 26, 2020

This might not have been the original date that Chelsea & Brett had scheduled but their wedding day turned out just perfect.  Covid-19 struck this sweet couples original plans too.  They had the best attitudes despite all the crazy changes this sweet couple had to endure.

Chelsea & Brett got married at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Thibodaux. If you have never been to one of Father Mark’s ceremonies, you are missing out.  He truly gets to know the couple and incorporates it into the entire ceremony.

The reception then followed to Protector Fire Station.  I have never photographed here before and it was the perfect spot for their family & close friends. I love what the put together in such a short time. It was the perfect reception.

I cannot wait to share these images with you. We had so much fun with you!  This is only a small peek of our favorites!  I hope you enjoy!
