Nichole + Danny

Mr. & Mrs. Cockerham

Living Word Church

Married: May 1, 2021

If you know their love story, you can’t help but cry (I definitely cried at this one).  These high school sweethearts dated for 6 years and then went separate ways.  After tragedy & heartbreak, 20 years later God brought them back together at church.

Nichole & Danny were married in the prayer garden at Living Word Church with their family and closest friends.  Pastor Matt Karns did a beautiful job officiating the ceremony.

The reception then followed to the fellowship hall for a first dance and sit-down dinner.  It was a beautiful afternoon celebrating two people becoming one.

Nichole & Danny, thank you so much for choosing me to document your wedding day.  I’m beyond excited for you.  I love your love story & thanking God for blessing the two of you.

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose” Romans 8:28

Here are a few of my favorites from your beautiful afternoon!  Congratulations again!

Ashlynn + Jacob

Mr. & Mrs. Crochet

St. Joseph Co-Cathedral & Rendezvous

Married: April 10, 2021

I know y’all probably get sick of me saying… “I have been looking forward to this wedding”, but I truly mean it.  I really have been looking forward to Jacob & Ashlynn’s big day!  They have been planning this wedding for over a year now and it has finally arrived!

I began my day at Ashlynn’s grandparents’ home in Thibodaux.  Everyone was so happy and ready for the day.  It had rained earlier in the day but cleared up just in time for the wedding festivities.

Ashlynn & Jacob held hands and got to talk to each other right before the ceremony.  They were married at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux.  Father Vic did a beautiful job officiating the ceremony.  My favorite part was when Jacob kissed Ashlynn before Father Vic announced them husband & wife.  So, he got to kiss her twice!!  It was such a precious moment.

The reception then followed to Rendezvous.  Good Feelings was ready to get the party started.  I don’t think the dance floor was empty the entire night.  It was a night full of laughter, dancing and good ol’ southern fun!

Ashlynn & Jacob, thank you so much for choosing me to document your day.  I had so much fun celebrating with you and your family.

Here are a few of our favorites from your amazing day!

Ahlanna + Blake

Mr. & Mrs. Sawyer

Cypress Columns

Married: March 13, 2021

Where do I even start with this precious couple!!!  I fell in love instantly with Ahlanna and her amazing Mom, Heather when we first met.  They have been so fun to work with and I cannot even begin to express how very honored and thankful I am to photograph this wedding.  The entire family has been so appreciative every step of the way. They are the type of people that make my job a dream.

I began my day with the girls at Herman Cook’s home on Main Street in Houma.  I have been dying to photograph here for some time now.  I was in photographer heaven!  It’s the perfect location for getting ready.  After Ahlanna was ready, I asked Ahlanna’s Dad, Rory to go into the living room.  I know I ambushed him but the moment he saw his beautiful daughter in her dress was just priceless.  It will be a moment I will never forget.  There wasn’t a dry eye in the room.  It was a beautiful moment of a father about to give his beautiful daughter away.

Ahlanna and Blake were married on the grounds at Cypress Columns.  Ahlanna’s Uncle Vicenç officiated the ceremony.  They had two beautiful readings and made sure to thank their family for being so supportive throughout their life.  The weather and ceremony were just beautiful.  They couldn’t have asked for a better day to get married.  It is definitely what every Southern girl dreams of when planning an outdoor ceremony.

The reception followed inside. Ahlanna’s Uncle made a memorable toast and then DJ Percy got the party started.  One thing that I loved that Ahlanna and Blake did for their reception was they had their guest request their favorite song on their RSVP.  Everyone got to hear their favorite song and the dance floor was never empty.

Ahlanna and Blake, I cannot thank you enough for choosing me to document your day.  You both are so very kind and appreciative.  You both thanked me throughout the night, and I cannot tell you both how much that means to me.  I hope you two are enjoying your 1st week of marriage.

Here are a few of our favorites from your amazing day!

Harley’s Bridals – Ardoyne Plantation

Harley is married!!! I was so honored to be chosen to take Harley’s bridals. I wasn’t available for her wedding day but was so excited when she asked me to take her bridal portraits. I have been photographing her for years and just LOVE every time she calls me for portraits. I’ve known her since a teenage girl. From Miss Grand Isle, family portraits, to graduating from college, I’ve been lucky enough to capture it all. We were blessed with beautiful weather on her portrait day. I had the best time catching up with Harley and her Mom, Shelly. Here are a few of my favorites from her session. Congratulations Mrs. Stelly! I’m so very happy for you! Wishing you and Jacob a lifetime of happiness!

Ahlanna’s Bridals – Fairfax House

Ahlanna tied the knot this weekend and I can finally share these with you all. Ahlanna chose Fairfax House for her bridal location. It is one of my favorite spots to take bridals. It’s a hidden gem off of Hwy. 90 in Franklin, LA. I had the best time with Ahlanna & her Mom, Heather. We laughed way too much and may have had a few tears of excitement. It was a beautiful day and it will be a day I will never forget. Here are a few of my favorites from her session.
